Czechslovak Club of South Australia

The Czechoslovak Club in Adelaide was established 18th November 1949. In 2019 it will celebrate the 70th anniversary since its foundation.

The club’s goal is to connect all Australians, including Czechs and Slovaks, by building a strong local South Australian community. This community sets to keep and promote existing national ideals that are based on united friendship and honest social relationships.

We also promote culture, food, heritage and language. The Czech school runs once a week, teaching the language to a new generation of children as well as adults.

We are open every Friday evening for dinner, from 6pm onwards. Come and try our traditional Czech food and authentic Czech beers.

This year we are going to build a new playground in the garden and upgrade the floor and tables in the dining area.

The club (51 Coglin Street) is also available for hire, click Hire a Hall to find out more.
